Talk to me. Go! You won't regret it. What are you waiting for?

Have any of you ever just looked at yourself in the mirror— completely naked? And I do not mean look at yourself… I mean look at yourself.
I do it almost every day and I think it is quite frankly the most liberating thing anyone can do. It is so beautiful just to stare at yourself and feel that terrifying vulnerability. A lot of women AND men are in denial of their bodies; they keep them covered up and avoid mirrors constantly because they have yet to accept what they have. But maybe… with a little bit of effort and courage you can finally find peace with your body and with yourself.
Seeing yourself naked gives you a chance to really examine your body- every single inch of it from top to bottom. You look into your eyes and just move down slowly— stopping at every part and really getting to know it. Those are your shoulders, your breasts, that is your belly button… and hips and thighs. Those are your veins and your stretchmarks. All these things are a part of you and are part of who you are. Sure you can alter these parts of your body slightly— making them smaller or bigger or leaner or thinner. But no matter what this is the body that you have to live in for the rest of your life. And I believe that you need to take a moment— at least once— to really get to know it and appreciate it and LOVE it— Love every single part of it. If you cannot love and appreciate your body now… you will never love it despite your efforts to change it.^^ ALL OF THIS.

Sorry Guys I don’t like to post things that arn’t safe for work but what they are saying I think is really good.
:/ at picture of pretty, thin, make upped, professionally photographed cis white lady who lacks my wookie-like body...
I’m not sure about “liberating”, at least for me yet. When I look at the mirror I fail to see anything attractive,...
I do this. It’s a good thing to do.
